This page is for those who want the instructions to fold Lovely Rose

This origami rose may not be simple to fold since it is not from the bird-base. But I am showing this rose since it is inherited from a base which is similar to the regular bird-base folding sequence.

You may use any kind of paper to fold this rose (*it is better if the front and the back side of the paper are the same in both texture and color since there will be an overlap between the front and the back sides).

Make sure the paper that you use is a square (all sides are equal and all the angles equal 90 degrees). The paper I am using here is 20cm x 20cm square one.

When you use a 20cm x 20cm paper, the rose becomes quite large, it is about 10cm x 10cm x 4cm.

A Special World

A special world for you and me
A special bond one cannot see
It wraps us up in its cocoon
And holds us fiercely in its womb.

Its fingers spread like fine spun gold
Gently nestling us to the fold
Like silken thread it holds us fast
Bonds like this are meant to last.

And though at times a thread may break
A new one forms in its wake
To bind us closer and keep us strong
In a special world, where we belong.
