Rain drops upon the iris



lying on the ground,
listening to the sound,
as the raindrops hit my face,
i close my eyes and dream of a different place,
somewhere i can play,
somewhere i can stay,
where the sun may shine,
and i might just feel fine,
one day the rain may pass,
and one day i may be able to water the grass
