This
page is for those who want the instruction to make an origami iris flower.
This origami iris flower simulates the real iris flower. One interesting feature of the origami iris flower is it starts from an equilateral triangle instead of a square paper.
If you are ready, then let's get started.
If you find any bugs on this instruction, please send an email to .
You may use any kind of paper to fold this origami iris flower. Here I am using the same color paper for both the front and the back sides. But you could use one side color only paper without any problem. Make sure the paper
that you use is a square(all sides are equal and all the angles
equal 90 degrees). The paper I am using here is 15cm x 15cm square one.
round corners that define the world
loud with all its static that speaks in a voiceless word
dim light that shines cannot reveal enough of what it should be
but time would freeze it all in those shades of grey i see
dark core that bears a crystal to protect,
fragile it stumbles in immature steps
so dark petals blossoms and iris, painted black
a lid that covers nothing, for nothing it is, there is no back
lashes of a painter's brush pause -
hesitant, in fear of weeping tears that course
the crystal drowns in ink that floods
when dam bursts and gushes bloods
and it fails now, useless, its vision lost -
the desire to hide, to protect, to keep
so much that it refused sleep,
the strained light that would not give
those screams of silence that continue to live
- all at such a cost
