One special folding technique that you will learn from this model is petal-fold which will be applied for four times.

If you are ready, then let's get started.

If you find any bugs on this instruction, please send an email to HyoAhn's email.

You may use any kind of paper to fold this simple origami lotus. Here I am using the same color paper for both the front and the back sides. But you could use one side color only paper without any problem. Make sure the paper that you use is a square (all sides are equal and all the angles equal 90 degrees). The dimension of the paper I am using here is 15cm x 15cm.

Origami Flowers

Jelly beans as wedding favours,
Origami flowers,
A wind-up band,
Extended hands,
We danced 'till morning hours.

Rings of solid silver love,
Mother's old lace dress,
A kiss to last,
Some photographs,
The feel of your caress.

Money was in short supply,
But wealth was all around,
Our future bright,
As we held tight,
Our hearts a single sound.
